Donor Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to support The Urban Room Foundation. Your contribution helps us advance our mission to bring people together to find smart solutions to urban challenges, empower communities to shape better cities, and raise awareness of urbanism in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before making your donation.
1. Purpose of Donations
All donations made to The Urban RoomFoundation go directly towardssupporting the Foundation’s charitable purposes, including but not limited to:
· Hosting exhibitions,events, and public forums
· Conducting researchand publishing thought leadership
· Supporting communityengagement and education on urban issues
· Maintaining andoperating the Urban Room space
We are a registered charitable trust in New Zealand,and your generosity enables us to continue our work in creating inclusive,informed, and well-designed cities for future generations.
2. Recurring Donations
If you choose to make a recurring donation:
· You authorise The Urban RoomFoundation to automaticallycharge your nominated payment method at the frequency you select (e.g. monthly,quarterly).
· You may cancel orchange your recurring donation at any time by contacting us atinfo@theurbanroom.com with at least 5 business days' notice before your nextscheduled payment.
· In the event of afailed payment, we may attempt to process the donation again or contact you toupdate your payment details.
· Recurring donationsare treated in the same way as one-off donations in terms of their charitablepurpose and receipting.
3. Donation Receipts and Tax Status
The Urban Room Foundation is a registered charity in NewZealand (Charity Registration Number:CC62679).
You will receive a receipt for each donation. For recurring donations, you mayreceive either individual receipts or an annual summary for tax purposes.
New Zealand taxpayers may be eligible for a donation tax credit under InlandRevenue guidelines.
4. Refund Policy
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believea donation was made in error, please contact us within 14 days atinfo@theurbanroom.com, and we will consider your request.
5. Privacy and Data Use
Your personal information will be handled in accordancewith our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data. We may contact youoccasionally with updates about our work or to acknowledge your support. Youmay opt out at any time.
6. Changes to Terms
The Urban Room Foundation reserves the right to updatethese terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effectiveimmediately upon posting on our website.
